Community Guidelines
Simple rules to keep our community helpful, respectful, and professional.
Be helpful and respectful
This is a community of restaurant professionals. Treat everyone the way you'd want to be treated during a pre-shift meeting — with respect, patience, and a willingness to help.
Share your experience
What works at your restaurant? How do you use quizzes to train your team? The best posts come from real-world experience. Your insights help other managers level up their training.
No spam or self-promotion
Unless it's genuinely helpful to the community, don't post promotional content. Sharing a tool or resource that helped your restaurant is fine — blatant ads are not.
No competitor bashing
Focus on what works, not what doesn't. Constructive comparisons are okay; negative campaigns are not.
Protect privacy
Never share employee personal information, customer data, or proprietary business details in community posts. When sharing success stories, use anonymized or aggregated data.
Keep it professional
No offensive, hateful, or discriminatory content. No content that violates laws or regulations. This is a professional space — act accordingly.
Report violations
If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the report button. Our team reviews reports and takes action within 24 hours.
Enforcement
ShiftTrained reserves the right to remove content and ban users who repeatedly violate these guidelines. First offenses typically receive a warning; repeated or severe violations may result in permanent bans.
