A note from our founder
Thirty years in restaurants taught me one thing: a server who knows the menu changes everything. The right suggestion, the confident answer about an allergen, the upsell that feels like hospitality instead of a pitch — it all comes from a team that actually knows what it is selling.
I built ShiftTrained so any restaurant, anywhere, could get their staff there in minutes instead of weeks. Why menu training works in any country
Menu knowledge is universal. Whether the dish is a Chicago deep-dish, a Mumbai thali, a Lagos jollof, or a Cape Town braai, the problem is the same everywhere: a guest asks a question, and the server either knows the answer or loses the moment. ShiftTrained works the same way in every kitchen because it trains on your menu, in your words, whatever the cuisine.
A few things make it travel well:
