Cocktail Test: Certifying Bartender Spec Knowledge

A cocktail test is the certification gate for serious bar programs. Different posture from a quiz. Tests certify, score, create date-stamped records: bartender X passed at 87% on this date, on this spec book version. Used for new-hire onboarding sign-off, post-menu-rotation verification, advanced bartender-track development. What goes in a 30-question cocktail test
12 questions on cocktail specs (ratios, builds, garnishes), 6 on spirits in your house cocktails, 4 on glassware standards, 4 on allergen-on-garnish disclosures, 4 on bar-service standards (over-pour limits, comp procedures). Configurable per concept, craft cocktail bar weights specs higher, sports bar weights service standards higher.
The new-hire onboarding gate

Post-menu-rotation verification
Cocktail menus rotate quarterly at minimum. Without a test, your bartenders know last quarter's menu cold and the new menu vaguely. A cocktail test issued 2 weeks after every menu launch tells you who's caught up.
